Stitching Classes for Women in Sumbal, Jammu and Kashmir

Nalwala Foundation is proud to offer stitching classes for women in the Sumbal, Jammu and Kashmir, providing a platform for skill development and empowerment. These classes are designed to teach women valuable stitching techniques, helping them gain independence and open doors to new opportunities. By fostering creativity and practical skills, the foundation aims to uplift women in the community and enable them to contribute meaningfully to their families and society.

Orientation & Launch of New Tailoring Training Batch - June 2025

In collaboration with Nalwala Foundation, Human Line Welfare Trust has successfully commenced a new six-month Cutting & Tailoring Training Program aimed at empowering 30 young girls from rural areas. The orientation session was held on 23rd June 2025, followed by the official training launch on 27th June 2025 at the Sumbal Tailoring Centre, District Bandipora.

Led by expert trainer Ms. Asmat Jan, the program focuses on providing hands-on training, fostering self-employment, and boosting confidence among participants. This initiative is part of our continuous effort to support women’s empowerment, enhance livelihood opportunities, and build a self-reliant community.

The training sessions will run Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with regular monitoring and assessments to ensure meaningful outcomes.
